• Our 4 R's

    Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Rangimarie

Nau mai, haere mai
welcome to Tikorangi School

Tikorangi School is set in a rural environment bordered by lovely Tikorangi farmland. We are also very lucky to have access to a  bush area which we are able to use for trapping, outdoor classroom and nature studies  which ties in nicely with us being an Enviro school.

We are enrolment zoned and have between 165-180  Year 1-6 students.

In celebration of Maori Language week one of the things to celebrate was to hear the story of how Waitara got it’s name, hear some student pepehas and of course sing our school song 🙂

TIKORANGI SCHOOL ENROLMENTS

The Tikorangi School Board of Trustees invite applications from parents who wish to enrol their child/ren at Tikorangi School for 2021.
Enrolment for the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available at the school office.
The Board has determined that there will be places across the school in 2021. The final numbers will be determined once we have our updated in zone student lists.
Please apply to the Tikorangi School office 754 6634 for an application form or email office@tikorangi.school.nz
The deadline for out of zone applications is:
September 25th - Enrolments close for out of zone students. In zone parents gain automatic entry however we would appreciate that “ in zone” students have their enrolments in by this date also.
October 12th Ballot to take place if necessary
October 16th Notification to out of zone parents.

Students who live in the home zone are entitled to enrol at the school. Parents of children within the zone should advise us by this date if their child will be attending Tikorangi School in 2021, in order for the school to plan appropriately.
If a ballot is required it will be held on October the 12th 2020. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within 3 days.
Allocation from out of zone students will be processed in priority order as set out by the Ministry of Education.

Contact the school office with your details for our database for future ballots.
